Laura Dhom
B.S.P.T.

  • Special Credentials: Upon graduating, Laura worked in an orthopedic setting for 2 years.  In October 1996, she opened Dynamic Rehabilitation with her husband Dave.  Laura has attended numerous continuing education courses to better help her patients achieve their goals.  She is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.  She has also been trained in The Graston Technique and Craniosacral Therapy.  In addition to general orthopedics and sports medicine, Laura also treats TMJ and Vertigo.  In March 2014, and again in March 2015, she was named “Outstanding Physical Therapist” by Chicago Magazine.  Laura has served on the Peer Review Committee for Fox Valley Medicine since 2003.  She is committed to providing one-on-one treatment for patients with the best care possible both physically and mentally. Laura is fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Education: Laura received her B.S. in Health Science from Aurora University and her B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1994 from the University of North Florida.
  • Hobbies: She is happily married and has two sons.  In her spare time, Laura enjoys having fun with her family, as well as running, biking, tennis, gardening, reading, crocheting & felting, and scrapbooking.
  • What I like most about working for Dynamic Rehabilitation: How the staff all gets along.  We are like one big happy family.

 

Monique Saucedo
P. T. Aide

  • Special Credentials:  Monique began interning at Dynamic Rehab in January 2018.  She was hired as a P.T. Aide in June 2018. Monique previously worked as an Assistant Manager at Calvin Klein for five years.
  • Education: Monique graduated from Aurora University in 2018 with a B.S. in Health Science.  She is a 2011 graduate of Batavia High School.
  • Hobbies:  Monique lives in Batavia with her daughter.  In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends.  She also enjoys going on adventures, traveling and supporting her daughter in sports.
  • What I like most about working for Dynamic Rehabilitation:  The staff is amazing!  They give every patient the attention they deserve.  I love seeing patients progress and get better.  It makes me feel like I have a sense of purpose and reminds me constantly that I chose the right career path in becoming a physical therapist.

Betsy Chesney
M.S.P.T.

  • Special Credentials: Betsy has worked in a number of settings including home health, in-patient rehab, and nursing homes.  However, the majority of her experience is in outpatient orthopedics. Betsy has been with Dynamic Rehab since 2001.  She has taken several continuing education classes which focus on cervical and lumbar pain.  Betsy is also trained in Kinesio Taping.
  • Education: Betsy earned her B.S. in Biology at Wheaton College.  In 1997, she graduated with her M.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
  • Hobbies: Betsy lives in Aurora with her husband and three children.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, biking and traveling.
  • What I like most about working for Dynamic Rehabilitation: The family atmosphere and the freedom to implement customized therapy for each patient.

 

 
     

Rachel Rivera
ATC

  • Special Credentials:  Rachel began working at Dynamic Rehab in the spring of 2017 as a certified athletic trainer.  She has previously worked at Victory Rehabilitation in Naperville, IL as well as ATI Physical Therapy.
  • Education: Rachel graduated from Rosary High School in 2011. She graduated from Aurora University in 2015 with a B.S. in Athletic Training.
  • Hobbies:  Rachel loves to travel, read, and go on adventures.
  • What I like most about working for Dynamic Rehabilitation:  Seeing patients enter in pain and leaving pain-free!  I swear the staff here performs miracles.
 

Tatiana Jackson
ATC

  • Special Credentials: As a NCAA Div II student-athlete in volleyball, Tatiana has been able to utilize her athletic mentality to ensure that patients are motivated to maximize their therapy for a successful outcome.  Her experience includes Athletic Training at East Aurora High school, InMotion Whole Health Center, and the Puerto Rican Men’s Professional Beach volleyball team during the XXI Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. She continues to maintain in the athletic setting by coaching for Club Fusion South volleyball and starting her own health fitness business.  She is certified in Kettlebell, HKC and licensed as a Zumba Instructor.  Tatiana is also a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner.
  • Education: Tatiana graduated with a B.S. in Science with a major of Athletic Training from Upper Iowa University in 2011.
  • Hobbies: Tatiana  loves to spend time with her family and friends.  She also enjoys to volunteer for youth causes.  She is currently Board Secretary for Bridging the Gap of Aurora, Inc.  She has taught zumba for the students of BTG East Aurora Operation Snowball.  In her spare time she likes to snowmobile, jet ski, read, take long walks on the beach, puddle jump in the rain, and dance her life away.
  • What I like most about working for Dynamic Rehabilitation: The family atmosphere allows me to interact with the staff and patients in a honest and open manner.  I am encouraged to always further my education and outreach to the community.  Having such great owners and chocolate are just a perk!
 

Desi Acosta
P.T., D.P.T.

 

  • Special Credentials: Desi began volunteering at Dynamic Rehab in the summer of 2009.  She was hired as a P.T. Aide in September 2010.  Upon graduating from physical therapy school in May 2016, she joined Dynamic Rehab as a Licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Education: Desi graduated from Waubonsee CC with an A.S. in General Science in May 2010. She received a B.S. degree in Health Sciences in May 2012 from Northern Illinois University.  Desi received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Northern Illinois University in May 2016.  Desi is also a class of ’08 Rosary High School graduate.
  • Hobbies: Desi enjoys traveling the world.  She also loves spending time with her family and friends. Desi is a black belt in Hapkido, so beware.
  • What I like most about working for Dynamic Rehabilitation: Working with patients!  All of the patients here at Dynamic Rehab positively impact my life; I hope to do the same for them.

Dave Dhom
Business Manager

  •  Special Credentials: Dave serves as the business manager for Dynamic Rehabilitation.  He handles everything from insurance & billing, to marketing and management of the clinic.  In 1996, he and his wife Laura founded Dynamic Rehabilitation with the intent of providing the highest quality physical therapy services in the Fox Valley area.  After a 12-year career with ComEd, he “retired” in order to focus on managing and growing the practice.
  • Education: Dave graduated from Iowa State University in 1991 with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Hobbies: Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 sons, as well as biking, running, softball, and coaching baseball, soccer and football.
  • What I like most about working for Dynamic Rehabilitation: Seeing patients come in to the clinic in pain and leave pain-free.  I’ve heard Laura tell patients she’s not a miracle worker, but I beg to differ.
